Ryan Johnston is a Director of National Accounts/Retail Distribution for Segall Bryant & Hamill. He focuses on new business development across the Central United States with an emphasis on the family office, Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) and financial consultant markets. Mr. Johnston joined the firm in May 2018 as part of SBH’s acquisition of Denver Investments. During his seven-year tenure with Denver Investments, he served as a regional sales manager. Prior to joining Denver Investments, Mr. Johnston was an internal wholesaler for Transamerica Capital. He also worked as an RIA regional sales representative for Icon Advisers, a vice president of sales for Choice Funds and an internal wholesaler for American Skandia. Mr. Johnston’s investment industry career began with Lutheran Brotherhood Financial where he worked as a financial consultant. Mr. Johnston earned his B.S. from the University of Northern Iowa. He has been in the investment industry since 2004 and holds his Series 7 and 66 (63 + 65) FINRA registrations.
