Nick N. Detchev, CFA

Senior Fixed Income Analyst

Nick Detchev is a Senior Fixed Income Analyst for Segall Bryant & Hamill and is responsible for fundamental credit research. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Detchev worked for Grant Thornton in the Valuation Services Group, where he provided corporate research and analysis for financial reporting, tax, and litigation purposes. He graduated summa cum laude from DePaul University with a B.S. in Finance and received an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management in 2015. He started in the investment industry in 2010 and has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. Mr. Detchev mentors students at Northwestern University and DePaul University regarding career prospects, coursework, and the investment management industry.
