Glenn Rippey is a Senior Portfolio Manager for Segall Bryant & Hamill’s Private Wealth group. His responsibilities include management of fixed income, equity and balanced portfolios for high-net-worth individuals and families and their related trusts, retirement plans and foundations. Mr. Rippey joined the firm in May 2018 as part of SBH’s acquisition of Denver Investments. During his 17-year tenure with Denver Investments, he served as a portfolio manager and analyst in the wealth management group. Prior to joining Denver Investments, Mr. Rippey managed private client portfolios as a portfolio manager with Wells Fargo Private Asset Management and its predecessor organization for seven years. He also worked for the Colorado Fire and Police Pension Association as an investment analyst for three years and The Bayard Fund as an acquisition analyst for three years. Mr. Rippey began his career at the First Interstate Bank of Denver where he worked as a portfolio manager. Mr. Rippey earned his B.A. and MBA from the University of Colorado. He has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is a member of CFA Institute and CFA Society Colorado. Mr. Rippey has been in the investment industry since 1985. Mr. Rippey serves on the Board of Directors for Volunteers of America’s Colorado Branch, which sponsors a wide range of social service and community outreach programs, including Meals on Wheels, Early Childhood Education, Emergency Shelters and Veterans’ Services.
